Honda offers just two Accord variants in Australia, with no V6 available.
The current Accord has been on sale for more than two years in the USA, but only touched down in Australia in the final weeks of 2020.
Although it isn’t expected to offer huge volumes, it acts as something of a flagship for Honda Australia.

Engines
There are two engines offered in the 2020 Honda Accord, first of which is a turbo 1.5-litre petrol. It outputs 140kW and 260Nm, put to the front wheels through a continuously variable transmission (CVT).
The hybrid pairs a 2.0-litre petrol engine with an electric motor for a combined 158kW and 315Nm, put once again to the front wheels using a hybrid-specific e-CVT transmission.
Fuel Economy
The 2020 Honda Accord petrol uses a claimed 6.5L/100km on the combined cycle, while the hybrid improves that figure to 4.3L/100km.
Both models can be powered by 91RON regular unleaded fuel.
Safety
The 2020 Honda Accord hasn’t been tested by ANCAP, nor the organisation’s partners at Euro NCAP.
However the car is a US Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS) Top Safety Pick for 2020, with good results in both passive and active safety assessments.
Dimensions
The 2020 Honda Accord measures 4904mm long, 2137mm wide and 1450mm tall, with a 2830mm wheelbase.
Boot space is listed at 570L.
