There’s a new boss at Audi Australia.
Jeff Mannering is the new managing director at Audi Australia, having served as executive director of Audi Korea, and managing director at Audi Middle East, and Audi Singapore.
He’s been part of the Audi Australia world before, having worked within the aftersales team earlier in his career before heading overseas.
“I am excited to return home to lead the extraordinary team at Audi Australia,” Mr Mannering said in a statement. “I look forward to sharing in our owners’ enthusiasm for the Audi brand in Australia, and taking them along with us on this exciting journey,” he said.
Mr Mannering’s predecessor, Paul Sansom, now leads the broader Volkswagen Group Australia, which includes the Audi brand as of January 1, 2022.
The Group umbrella now includes more than 180 dealers around Australia, split across the Volkswagen and Volkswagen Commercial, Skoda, and Audi brands.
Cupra has recently joined the stable. Bentley, Porsche, and Lamborghini are part of the Volkswagen Group globally, but are independently distributed in Australia.
“I am delighted to hand over the reins of Audi Australia to an executive of Jeff’s calibre,” said Mr Sansom.
“I look forward to seeing Audi continue on its innovative path, as the technological spearhead of Volkswagen Group Australia, to deliver our customers the very best of premium mobility into the future.
“It has been an honour to lead this incredible brand in Australia and I have the fondest memories of all that we have achieved together.”
