    Cost of ownership

What are the running and servicing costs of a Audi RS6?

The Audi RS6 has a recommended service interval of 12 months or 15,000 km, whichever comes first.

How does the 2024 Audi RS6 drive?

Our expert take on Audi RS6 drivability.

Audi claims to have been able to increase the engine outputs by upping the boost pressure from 2.4 to 2.6 bar.

The company also claims both of these models can do the 0-100km/h sprint in 3.4 seconds, which is 0.2 seconds faster than the regular versions.

Both models have reduced insulation between the engine and cabin, as well at the rear of the vehicle, which means the sound from the sport exhaust system will travel more easily into the cabin. It also reduces weight.

The Audi RS6 Avant Performance and RS7 Sportback Performance retain the same level of specification as the regular models, though they adopt a special wheel and tyre package.

The Audi RS6 Avant Performance and RS7 Sportback Performance are both powered by a 4.0-litre bi-turbo V8 engine with a 48V mild-hybrid system producing 463kW of power and 850Nm of torque. This is up 22kW and 50Nm over the regular versions.

There are 22-inch gloss silver and black metallic alloy wheels that are 5kg lighter than the 22-inch aluminium wheels from the regular RS6 Avant and RS7 Sportback.

These wheels are wrapped in specially developed Continental Sport Contact 7 285/30 tyres. They are claimed to help reduce the 100-0km/h braking distance by two metres.

    2024 Audi RS6 Warranty

The Audi RS6 Avant Performance and RS7 Sportback Performance are both covered by a five-year warranty. Owners also receive five years of complimentary roadside assistance.

Audi is offering five-year service plans for both models, which both currently cost $5380 for both the regular models.

The company also allows customers to purchase an additional two-year package to extend their warranty, servicing and roadside assistance.

New vehicle owners can purchase two-year programs back-to-back at the time of purchase, or at a later date up to eight years old. This allows new vehicle owners to extend their warranty for up to nine years.
