About Max
Max Davies joined the CarExpert team in 2024, after three years of journalism study at La Trobe University and writing for his local newspaper at the same time.
He has since moved into automotive media and followed a lifelong passion for everything cars and auto, kicked off by the Subaru rally team of the mid-2000s and its subsequent road-going offerings.At CarExpert, Max has translated his skills into the Marketplace Journalist role, writing news and comparisons from across the automotive industry.
At home, he has a 1988 Toyota Celica that has been restored and lightly modded to become a fun little weekender.
