2024 BMW X3 Safety Rating
The pre-facelift BMW X3 managed a five-star ANCAP safety rating based on tests conducted by Euro NCAP in 2017.
It received scores of 93 per cent for adult occupant protection, 84 per cent for child occupant protection, 70 per cent for vulnerable road user protection, and 58 per cent for safety assist.
This five-star ANCAP rating applies to all variants except the xDrive30e plug-in hybrid.
The 2023 BMW X3 comes with the following safety features:

The 2023 BMW X3 sDrive20i is powered by a 2.0-litre turbocharged four-cylinder petrol engine producing 135kW of power and 300Nm of torque.
It’s the only rear-wheel drive member of the X3 range, and BMW claims the X3 sDrive20i can do the 0-100km/h sprint in 8.2 seconds.
The X3 xDrive20d is powered by a 2.0-litre four-cylinder turbo-diesel producing 140kW and 400Nm, with a claimed 0-100km/h time of 8.0 seconds.
The X3 xDrive30i is powered by an uprated 2.0-litre turbocharged four-cylinder petrol engine producing 185kW and 350Nm, with a claimed 0-100km/h time of 6.3 seconds.
The X3 xDrive30d is powered by a 3.0-litre inline-six turbo-diesel producing 195kW and 620Nm, with a claimed 0-100km/h time of 5.8 seconds.
