The Renault Captur is unchanged for 2023, though its base price is slightly higher.
The small SUV is the brand’s most affordable vehicle in Australia, and the range starts at $31,800 before on-road costs for the Captur Life, and tops out at $41,300 before on-road costs for the flagship Captur R.S Line.
Prices have been increased across the range by $500 since the last publicised price increase on July 1, 2022.
Captur sales were up 126.5 per cent in 2022, for a total of 1207 units – narrowly ahead of the related Nissan Juke (1084 sales).
All prices exclude on-road costs.
The 2023 Renault Captur’s 1.3-litre four-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine produces 113kW of power and 270Nm of torque.
It’s mated with a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission, with drive sent to the front wheels only.
Claimed fuel economy for the 2023 Renault Captur is 6.6L/100km on the combined cycle.
All models have a 48L fuel tank and require 95 RON premium unleaded petrol.

The 2023 Renault Captur has a five-star ANCAP safety rating based on Euro NCAP testing conducted in 2019.
