GWM is ramping up the deals on its dual-cab Cannon Ute, ahead of an updated model arriving in Australian showrooms early next year.
Until December 31, 2024 or while stocks last, GWM Australia is offering the entire Ute (aka Cannon Ute or Ute Cannon) range with a $2000 bonus for private buyers, and an additional $1500 for ABN holders.
With the range now starting from $34,490 drive-away for private buyers of the base Premium, the price of entry to the range is $4500 cheaper than prior to August, with the base dual-cab continuing as the most affordable ute on the market.
Better-equipped examples are up to $6000 more affordable than August, with the entire range sitting below $47,990 drive-away for both private and ABN buyers.

The pricing reduction comes after GWM ran a campaign for three complimentary services across most models, which saved buyers of its ute $980. This promotion ended last week.
As reported in September, all Cannon Ute grades except for the Cannon-XSR recently received a braked towing capacity increase from 3000kg to 3200kg.
The Cannon Ute is powered by a 2.0-litre four-cylinder turbo-diesel engine, producing 120kW of power and 400Nm of torque, with drive sent to all four wheels through an eight-speed automatic transmission.
All models sold in Australia are backed by a seven-year, unlimited-kilometre warranty.
GWM is due to launch an updated ute in the first quarter of 2025, which will use a more powerful 2.4-litre turbo-diesel engine with 135kW and 480Nm.
It’ll also feature an enhanced braked towing capacity of 3500kg, on par with rivals such as the Ford Ranger.
GWM also appears to be streamlining the name of its ute, which is varyingly referred to as the Ute, Ute Cannon, and Cannon Ute at present.
In its latest release, GWM simply calls the updated model the Cannon – something many Australians already called it, as every member of the existing model lineup has Cannon as part of its name.
