The Isuzu D-Max is once again available to order with its value-packed Tour Mate accessories package, bringing drive-away pricing and more than $9000 in savings for certain buyers.

Available from today for Isuzu D-Max LS-U and LS-U+ 4×4 dual-cab variants, the Tour Mate adds “commonly selected” optional accessories in one package, as it previously did when it was last offered on the previous-generation ute in 2019.

    The D-Max LS-U Tour Mate is priced from $69,990 drive-away, while the D-Max LS-U+ is priced from $72,990 drive-away.

For context, without accessories the D-Max LS-U 4×4 dual-cab is priced from $67,052 (Queensland) to $69,563 (Western Australia) drive-away, while the LS-U+ ranges between $70,142 (Queensland) and $72,814 (Western Australia) drive-away.

The Tour Mate accessories include a 12-pin tow bar wiring harness and 50mm tow ball; an electric brake controller; a canopy with dual lift-up side windows and central locking; extendable power-folding and heated towing mirrors; and slimline weather shields for the front and rear windows.

These accessories would normally add about $9040 to the price of the D-Max, but buyers are in line to save between $6000 and $9000 with the Tour Mate package, depending on where they live.

Both variants of the Isuzu D-Max are powered by a 3.0-litre turbo-diesel four-cylinder engine, producing 140kW of power and 450Nm of torque, mated to a six-speed automatic transmission and part-time four-wheel drive system with a two-speed transfer case.

The D-Max Tour Mate, and all other 3.0-litre versions of the ute, have a braked towing capacity of 3500kg and a maximum downball load of 350kg.

The entire Isuzu D-Max range is backed by a six-year, 150,000km warranty and requires logbook servicing every 12 months or 15,000km (whichever comes first), priced at a fixed rate of $449 across the first five services.

Isuzu is taking orders for the D-Max Tour Mate from today, August 1.
