Suzuki Australia has added new limited-edition versions of its Vitara crossover to the lineup for 2024.
The Suzuki Vitara Beat and Vitara Turbo Beat are priced from $30,990 drive-away and $35,990 drive-away respectively.
The Vitara Beat is $1000 more affordable than the standard entry-level automatic model, whereas the Vitara Turbo Beat is $500 more affordable than the regular Turbo model.
These two special-edition models are kitted up with unique looks and a range of extra standard equipment.
On the outside they receive unique Beat decals, a smoked bonnet protector, as well as front and rear weather shields. Inside there’s also a carpet floor mat set.
The powertrains in both Vitara Beat models remain unchanged. The standard model is powered by a 1.6-litre naturally aspirated four-cylinder engine producing 86kW and 156Nm, where the Turbo model has a 1.4-litre turbocharged four-cylinder engine producing 103kW and 220Nm.
All Vitara Beat models have a six-speed automatic transmission with drive being sent to the front wheels only.
Suzuki Vitara Beat models are available in the following exterior paint colours:
- Cool White Pearl
- Cosmic Black Pearl Metallic
- Galactic Grey Metallic with Cosmic Black roof
- Savannah Ivory with Cosmic Black roof
- Bright Red with Cosmic Black roof
- Silky Silver
- Atlantis Turquoise Pearl Metallic with Cosmic Black roof
- Solar Yellow with Cosmic Black roof
The fourth-generation Suzuki Vitara has been on sale in Australia since 2015 and received a mid-life update in 2019.
In the first six months of 2024 Suzuki sold a total of 1326 Vitaras. This is far from the small SUV sales chart leader, the MG ZS family (inc. ZS, ZST and ZS EV), which over the same period of time 11,809 examples were sold.
