2025 Hyundai i30 N price and specs

The Hyundai i30 N has received a price increase across most of the range for 2025, coinciding with a minor cosmetic and equipment update to the hot hatch.

Deliveries of the updated Hyundai i30 N hatch are due to begin this month.

Hyundai has now aligned the prices of six-speed manual and eight-speed dual-clutch automatic variants, both now starting from $50,000 before on-road costs.

This represents a $3800 increase for manual variants and a $800 rise for automatic examples compared to the pre-update model.

Flagship i30 N Premium grades are also identically priced from $53,500 before on-road costs, regardless of transmission choice.

While this means the Premium manual is $4300 more expensive, the Premium auto is $200 cheaper.

However, the auto no longer comes with a sunroof, which has become a $2000 option – essentially resulting in a like-for-like price increase of $1800 when the panoramic roof is ticked.

Changes include a new matte grey finish for the 19-inch forged wheels, a revised grille, and red trim on the side skirts and front bumper inserts.

Inside, it gets a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster like the i30 Sedan N, which can display turbo boost gauges, a g-force meter and a lap timer.

The suite of safety technology has also been upgraded, with the autonomous emergency braking system, which uses both radar and a windshield-mounted camera, now able to detect cyclists in addition to cars and pedestrians.

The hot hatch is also the latest vehicle to gain Hyundai Bluelink connected car services and over-the-air software updates.

Pricing

Drivetrains

There are no changes to the Hyundai i30 N’s engine for 2025.

A red ‘N Grin Shift’ button on the steering wheel provides maximum power and torque for up to 20 seconds at a time, as well as more aggressive gear shifts and a more raucous exhaust noise.

Efficiency

Hyundai Australia hasn’t yet detailed fuel economy figures for the 2025 i30 N, though it’s expected to be unchanged from 2024.

Dimensions

The 2025 Hyundai i30 N’s exterior dimensions are unchanged, though its revised weight is yet to be confirmed.

Servicing and warranty

The Hyundai i30 N – as well as all other models sold by the brand – is covered by a five-year, unlimited-kilometre warranty.

Servicing is required every 12 months or 10,000km, whichever comes first.

Hyundai hasn’t yet announced capped-price servicing details for the 2025 i30 N.

While the standard Hyundai i30 range has a five-star ANCAP safety rating, this doesn’t apply to the i30 N.
