The base price of the Mazda CX-3 has climbed for 2025 with the axing of the old G20 Sport model, while other members of the light SUV range have gained more standard kit.

The range now opens at $30,370 before on-road costs for the G20 Pure. This is $3420 more expensive than the model year 2024 (MY24) lineup’s entry point.

The G20 Pure is also $900 more expensive than the outgoing model due to the addition of more standard equipment.

UPDATE, 18/12/2024 – Mazda Australia has confirmed changes to the CX-3 lineup, including the axing of the base Sport and more standard equipment for the Pure and Evolve. We’ve updated this article accordingly.

The updated range is on sale now.

The Pure gets new 18-inch alloy wheels, adaptive cruise control, and Smart Brake Support, the latter being an enhanced autonomous emergency braking (AEB) system.

The Evolve also picks up the additional safety and assistance technologies, as well as front fog lights and keyless entry.

Moving to the Evolve also brings 18-inch black machined alloys and black leatherette upholstery, which is newly applied to the centre console and door trims.

A new GT SP replaces the Touring SP and gains a seven-speaker Bose sound system, previously exclusive to the Akari.

The Akari, which joined the lineup for model year 2024, remains atop the range but gains new 18-inch alloy wheels with a bright finish.
