The Mazda CX-5 will remain unchanged for the 2025 model year, with no pricing or specification adjustments expected across the range.

Prices start at $36,950 before on-road costs for the base G20 Maxx, and top out at $55,000 plus on-roads for the flagship Akera.

Buyers have the option of three four-cylinder engines, each mated to a six-speed automatic transmission. The Maxx and Maxx Sport are available with front-wheel drive, while the rest of the range is all-wheel drive.

The CX-5 no longer has a five-star ANCAP safety rating, as its score expired at the end of last year. As such, the CX-5 is now unrated.

This could be a farewell lap for the current CX-5, as the next generation of Mazda’s best-selling family SUV is expected to launch in 2025, bringing fuel-saving hybrid technology developed in-house.
