Toyota isn’t expecting to make any changes to the Corolla range for 2025 in Australia, after petrol versions of the small car were killed off earlier this year in favour of a hybrid-only lineup.

In March, Toyota announced it would stop selling solely petrol-powered models where hybrid technology was available across its entire Australian range.

As such, all Corolla variants – not including the high-performance GR Corolla – are powered by a 1.8-litre naturally aspirated petrol four-cylinder hybrid engine producing a combined power output of 103kW.

Pricing starts from $32,110 before on-road costs for the Ascent Sport Hybrid hatch and extends to $40,260 before on-road costs for the ZR Hybrid sedan.

Corolla sales sit at 20,097 to the end of October, a 29.8 percent increase compared to the same point last year.

That also makes it the best-selling small car in Australia by a comfortable margin, with the Kia Cerato (13,772 sales) sitting a distant second.
