2025 Toyota RAV4 price and specs

The Toyota RAV4 will go unchanged for the 2025 model year, with no price or spec adjustments expected.

Nine variants are available across five different trim levels, with a starting price of $42,260 before on-road costs for the front-wheel drive RAV4 Hybrid GX.

All models are powered by a 2.5-litre four-cylinder hybrid drivetrain, after the remaining petrol-only models were discontinued back in June.

The Corolla, Corolla Cross, Camry, and Kluger are now also hybrid-only.

RAV4 wait times hovered at four months back in July, and a spike in sales saw 5182 examples delivered in September. To the end of September, the RAV4 has amassed 43,232 sales in 2024.

In terms of sales numbers, the RAV4 sits well clear of the chasing pack in the mid-sized SUV category. The Mitsubishi Outlander comes in second – 21,249 were sold over the first nine months of the year.

It has either 542L of boot space or 580L, depending on the position of the boot floor. Note this is with the space-saver spare equipped, with no figures available with the full-sized spare offered in the GX.

Servicing and Warranty

The RAV4 is backed by a five-year, unlimited-kilometre warranty.

Servicing is required every 12 months or 15,000km, whichever comes first. The first five services are capped at $260 each.

Safety

The RAV4 has a five-star safety rating from ANCAP, based on testing conducted by Euro NCAP in 2019.

It received scores of 93 per cent for adult occupant protection, 89 per cent for child occupant protection, 85 per cent for vulnerable road user protection and 83 per cent for safety assist.

The XSE is available only in Mineral Blue, Graphite, Silver Sky and Frosted White, all paired with a black roof. The Edge also has a limited palette, comprising Mineral Blue, Atomic Rush, Eclipse Black, Graphite, and exclusive Jungle Khaki finishes.

All models have a black interior, though the XSE gets blue accents. The Cruiser can be had with optional Nutmeg (beige) leather, while the Edge offers a Orchid Brown and Light Grey Soft interior colour-way.
