Our inaugural CarExpert Experience Centre has wrapped up this week in Sydney.
During the 12-week pilot at Westfield Warringah Mall in Sydney’s Northern Beaches we’ve been thrilled to welcome more than 32,000 visitors through our doors. We’ve been even more delighted to see first-hand just how well this world-first concept resonated with the local car-buying community.
With 63 per cent of our customers stating they are in-market to purchase a vehicle in the next three months, it’s been amazing to watch our independent experts engage car buyers in meaningful conversations that genuinely help them go on to make more confident car buying decisions at the dealership.
Online or offline, this is the very reason CarExpert exists.
Interestingly, as Car Experts, we have also learnt a great deal from car buyers. So much so that, in fact, our conversations on the floor of the Experience Centre have gone on to reshape the type of content we will publish in the future.
So what’s next? We’ll be making some exciting announcements in the coming months in regards to launching a new and evolved format of our Experience Centres in Sydney and Melbourne.

We are also tremendously proud to announce we have now crossed the 100,000 subscribers mark on our YouTube channel (117k at time of publishing), which currently has the most minutes watched and views of any of our competitors on a monthly basis (9.2 million minutes watched and 1.9 million views in May 2021*.)
In May just gone, CarExpert’s website audience hit a peak of 901,656** users globally with over 600,000** of them in Australia, a remarkable figure given we launched our website just over a year ago in April 2020. It’s a figure we’re looking to beat in the current month of June as we edge closer to 700,000 Australian users.
The next 12 months look very exciting for us at CarExpert with the launch of new Experience Centres as well as huge changes to the website that bring never-before-seen depths of market data and insights to the car-buying experience (more on that soon).
