Cupra is recalling its 2021-2022 Leon and Formentor due to an issue with the radiator.
“Due to a manufacturing issue, the radiator on some vehicles may not be properly secured. This could cause the radiator to move and may result in the loss of engine coolant,” the company said in its recall notice.
“A loss of coolant will be indicated by visual and audible warnings for low coolant. If the warnings are ignored by the driver, engine overheating and subsequent power loss can occur.”
If you own an affected vehicle, you can contact your preferred Cupra Service partner to schedule a free inspection and repair.
If you have any further questions, you can contact Cupra on 1800 879 112.
