The Presidential Palace of Syrian leader Bashar al-Assad was stormed over the weekend, with rebel forces uncovering – among other things – the overthrown dictator’s expensive car collection.

Footage uploaded to X – formerly known as Twitter – by Open Source Intel shows rebels walking through al-Assad’s former garage, detailing the vehicles left behind after he reportedly fled to Russia.

The video first shows four near-identical black Toyota FJ Cruisers parked alongside each other with their bonnets up, before pivoting to another line of vehicles which includes the Lamborghini LM002 – a V12-powered off-roader made in the late 1980s and early 1990s.

Though there’s a number of relatively uninteresting and uninspiring cars in the garage, the fleet also includes the V12-powered Ferrari F50 and an F430, finished in matching Rosso Corsa paintwork.

Next to the pair of Ferraris is a Lamborghini Diablo, also in red but with one of its scissor doors open.

A second video uploaded by the account of alleged rebels driving through the garage in an Aston Martin shows even more cars, such as an Audi R8, a Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG and a Rolls-Royce Phantom.

It’s not known what will become of the cars, however the Syrian people have larger things to focus on as the country looks forward following the end of rule for the Assad regime.
