Ford Australia is recalling 1811 examples of the Endura SUV due to a manufacturing defect that may cause brake fluid to leak from the front brake flexible hoses.
This recall affects Endura models produced during 2018.
“Due to a manufacturing defect, brake fluid may leak from the front brake flexible hoses,” said the company in its recall notice.
“This could cause the brake fluid warning light to illuminate and may result in reduced braking efficiency.”
If you own an affected vehicle Ford Australia will contact you requesting that you make an appointment at your preferred Ford dealer for an inspection and repair, free of charge.
If you have further questions you can contact Ford’s Customer Relationship Centre on 13 36 73.
