A common theme from our reader feedback was the request for a podcast, which is something we really enjoyed doing in the past.
So the CarExpert team got together and came up with some ideas about what our podcast could look like, and decided to pull the trigger and make it happen.
Our new podcast brings together our editorial team and aims to deliver the latest car news each week, along with car reviews, technology coverage and, in the future, content from our listeners and readers.
If you’re into podcasts or simply want to see what’s new in the car world, make sure you subscribe to the CarExpert Podcast on your favourite podcast platform (full details below).
Each week we’ll have a post on the site with the latest episode, and we look forward to hearing your feedback on things you’d like to improve or change moving forward.
Episode 1: Bonus episode!
Our first episode is in response to a number of requests from readers asking why we left the old place and how CarExpert came about. Alborz, Tony, and I have dived in to explain the full story.
This episode has a few swear words, so apologies in advance. Our regular podcast from episode two onwards will be free of any bad words. Promise.
Episode 2: Episode one of the real podcast
Mandy Turner is back hosting the CarExpert Podcast, so settle in with a familiar voice.
In this episode, Mandy is joined by Paul Maric and Scott Collie, with Mike Costello, Anthony Crawford, and Chris Atkinson to run through the latest automotive news, and chat about what’s happening at CarExpert offices (and homes in Victoria) around Australia.
This week in car news we look at the all-new Ford Bronco and Bronco Sport, the release of the Nissan Ariya, talk about Stellantis, the new FCA/PSA merger, and catch up with the eam to discuss the Mitsubishi Pajero Sport and the Audi RSQ3.
We also talk to former World Rally Championship driver Chris Atkinson about his role in the CarExpert team.
