For many buyers of large cars boot space is the deciding factor. After all, if you buy a big car you need a boot big enough to hold flat packs, groceries, or tools.

Although large cars are falling out of favour in a world dominated by SUVs, there are still a few options on offer in Australia.

We’ve included vehicles above and below the $70,000 mark, spanning two segments on the VFACTS sales charts.

Most of the vehicles listed here have internal combustion engines, expect for the Audi e-tron GT, Mercedes-Benz EQE, and Porsche Taycan which are all electric.

Most of the listed vehicles only have quoted boot space with the seats up – this is because most brands do not quote a boot capacity figure for sedans, due of their odd shape with the seats down.
