The Purosangue SUV was already hard to swallow for many Ferrari purists, and now notorious German tuning house Mansory has taken things several steps further.
The Pugnator is Mansory’s carbon-clad, sharp-edged, over-the-top version of Ferrari’s most controversial car.
Mansory is known for wildly modified luxury vehicles, has treated the standard Purosangue to a complete overhaul starting with the exterior.

The Pugnator is finished in ‘Vermillion’ red paint, with a gaudy bodykit that includes bonnet and arch vents, sharp side skirts, a raised two-part rear wing, flared arches, and an aggressive rear splitter.
All exterior additions are finished in ‘through-coloured’ forged carbon fibre, including the entire bonnet.
Newly designed ultra-light forged ‘FC.5’ rims complement the look, measuring 22 inches at the front and 23 inches at the rear.
Under the bonnet is Ferrari’s naturally aspirated 6.5-litre V12 engine, now massaged to produce 563kW of power and 730Nm, an increase of 30kW and 14Nm.
The power bump comes courtesy of a new quad-flow sports exhaust system with variable valves.
In case the Pugnator wasn’t shouty enough, Mansory offers almost unlimited levels of interior customisation.
Buyers can opt for just about any combination of leather, colours, quilting and carbon fibre to kit out the cabin, which comes with a carbon and leather steering wheel, embroidered seatbelts and floor mats, as well as aluminium pedals.
Mansory hasn’t indicated what the Pugnator conversion will cost. However, the Purosangue starts at $728,000 before on-road costs in Australia.
Buying a Purosangue has proven to be difficult for Australian customers, though. Ferrari dealers in Australia have told CarExpert the wait on an “expression of interest” – which doesn’t guarantee a build slot – was two years.
Globally, Purosangue production is capped at 3000 units per year.
Mansory was founded in 1989 by Iranian tuner Kourosh Mansory. The company has since built a reputation on producing highly-modified versions of supercars, luxury SUVs, and motorcycles.
Other recent projects have been based on the Ineos Grenadier, Rolls-Royce Spectre, and Porsche 911 Turbo.
