A social media influencer has claimed they were left with a fractured ankle after being hit by a pink HSV Maloo – all in the name of clicks.
Emily Webb, a 25-year-old ‘content creator’ from Queensland, found herself in a Gold Coast hospital in the aftermath of a failed attempt to recreate the “trust him” TikTok trend.

If successful, the women in question trumpet the trustworthiness of their beau in a TikTok video.
However, as you’d imagine, things don’t always go to plan.
That’s exactly what happened when Ms Webb stood in front of the V8 Maloo on the top level of a multi-story carpark.
In a clip posted to Instagram, Ms Webb’s chosen man appears to fail to stop the pink ute in time, rolling over her ankle as she tries to take some candid selfies.
The result? Ms Webb is left screaming in agony, before the sheepish looking driver opens his door to assist.
There wasn’t much sympathy from viewers online – “that was literally your fault,” one user commented, receiving 31 likes.
“I don’t regret it,” Ms Webb told news.com.au.
“But I definitely do not want to get hit by a car again. I feel lucky that it wasn’t even a centimetre further.
“It could have been so much worse.”
