Sydney Sweeney has teamed up with Ford to design a two-of-a-kind 2024 Ford Mustang GT – and you can win one.
The Mustang is finished in Robin’s Egg Blue with a crushed glass clear coat, 20-inch chrome rims, a Ford X Sydney Sweeney heart bolt badge on the engine cover, sill plate, dashboard and beige leather seats.
There are colour-changing LED “stars” on the headliner of the Mustang which Ford says is inspired by Ms Sweeney’s love for nighttime drives.
Ford is celebrating 60 years of the Mustang in 2024, which makes this competition all that more special.
The 2024 Mustang GT was inspired by Sweeney’s 1965 Mustang, which she named Britney. Ford has built two models customised by the actor, one of which will be added to her private collection. The other will go to the winner of the competition.
“It’s heartening to see Ford celebrate individuals who are pushing past stereotypes to do what they love,” said Sweeney, best known for her work on Euphoria.
“That’s why I was so excited to work with Ford on designing my dream car, and I can’t wait to surprise someone special with a matching vehicle.”
Ford Mustang chief engineer Laurie Transou said like her, “Sydney is a Mustang girl”.
“Each generation has its own distinct personality, but at their core, they embody a spirit of disruption, edge, and undeniable allure,” she said.
“Sydney’s interpretation of the Mustang captures this essence perfectly, reflecting the expressive and individualistic nature of those who are drawn to this iconic vehicle.”
Sydney Sweeney learned to drive on her great-grandfather’s Ford F-100 in Spokane, Washington, United States. During COVID she restored a 1969 Ford Bronco, which she documented on her TikTok channel.
She worked with Ford in 2023 to launch a workwear apparel line.
The competition closes tonight and is only open to US residents who are 18 years or older.
