Volkswagen Group Australia (VGA) has announced a new “peace of mind” package for all its existing and new electric vehicle (EV) customers.
On EV is a package of services and benefits that’s offered on all EVs from Volkswagen Passenger Vehicles, Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles, Audi, Skoda and Cupra. It’s the first time all these brands have come together.
Highlight financial features of On EV includes guaranteed future value, novated leasing options, and “all in one” weekly re-payments.

The program also guarantees roadside assist, an eight-year/160,000km battery warranty, battery health checks during logbook servicing, as well as an EV loan car when you book in a service.
Other major features of On EV include partnerships with JET Charge, Chargefox, and Ampol for home and public charging solutions, plus Europcar for up to month-long test drives of the Cupra Born.
With the recently launched Volkswagen ID. Buzz and ID. Buzz Cargo in particular, as well as the upcoming Volkswagen ID.4 and ID.5, owners get discounts at Ampol’s AmpCharge public charging network, as well as discounts on home chargers.
“On EV not only removes any misgiving around buying an EV, it makes buying an EV logical. Equally, customers who already have EV experience will see that On EV gives VGA brands an advantage even beyond its battery technology and the relative ease of repairing these,” said VGA managing director Karsten Seifert.
While VGA hasn’t been as quick to introduce EVs to Australia as some brands, it’s making up for lost time with a bevy set to arrive in 2025.
These include the Audi Q6 e-tron and A6 e-tron; Volkswagen ID.4, ID.5 GTX and ID. Buzz GTX; Cupra Tavascan; and the Skoda Elroq.
