Cupra is a relatively new brand to Australia, having launched in 2022.
It’s a subsidiary of the sprawling Volkswagen Group, and became its own brand after starting life as a sporty badge for SEAT cars.
Its cars share engines and chassis parts with Volkswagen, Skoda, and Audi models.
Cupra cars are currently built in Spain, Germany, Czech Republic, Hungary, and China.
Its models currently include the Leon hatchback and wagon, the Ateca and Formentor SUVs, and the Born EV.
Its range will soon expand to include the Tavascan and Terramar SUVs, and the Raval hatchback.
