2026 Hyundai Staria review
Pros
- Big space inside
- Loads of glass makes it feel airy
- Easier to drive than you'd think
Cons
- Surround-view camera deleted – why?!

The Hyundai Staria is a people mover that replaced the iMax with a far more modern design, cabin and safety package. Its futuristic shape hides a very practical brief: moving families, hotel guests, business passengers and community groups with generous space and easy access. Compared with older van-based people movers, the Staria feels more polished, with a broad cabin, large glasshouse and available higher-grade features. In Australia it appeals to households that need more passenger room than an SUV can comfortably provide, as well as commercial operators wanting a contemporary shuttle vehicle. Its strengths are space, visibility, comfort and a design that makes a people mover feel less utilitarian.
