The Leapmotor B10 is a five-door small electric SUV that gives the Chinese brand a mainstream, family-friendly option in Australia. Launched locally in 2025, it sits in the compact EV crossover space alongside models such as the MG S5 EV and BYD Atto 2, offering a high-riding body, practical cabin layout and urban-friendly footprint. The Australian B10 uses a battery-electric powertrain with a single motor driving the rear wheels, giving it simple, quiet EV performance suited to commuting, school runs and weekend errands. It’s aimed at buyers moving out of petrol small SUVs who want lower running costs, modern technology and useful space without stepping up to a larger or more expensive electric SUV. Overseas updates have brought larger batteries and faster-charging hardware, but these have not been confirmed for Australian showrooms.
