Zhejiang Leapmotor Technology Co is a Chinese electric vehicle (EV) brand founded in 2015. It started producing vehicles for the domestic market in 2019, before Stellantis purchased a 20 per cent stake and established a joint venture to distribute Leapmotor vehicles in export markets including Europe and Australia. As such, Leapmotor vehicles are sold alongside Jeep vehicles in Australia, where current Deepal models include the C10 mid-size electric and range-extender (EREV) electric SUV, and the B10 small electric SUV. Other models including the T03 small electric hatch and the EV/EREV C16 large SUV are also under consideration for Australian release.
