2020 MG ZST

Spoiler alert: the five most popular car reviews this year weren't actually of passenger cars. Unsurprisingly, it was ute and SUV reviews that proved most popular.

The budget-friendly MG ZS line-up had a record month in November, placing third in the fastest-growing new vehicle segment for the first time.

MG has added a newer, sharper-looking option to its compact SUV line-up. The ZS lives on, but it now sits below the ZST.

MG's small ZS SUV will get a facelift and more safety tech as promised. It'll wear the new ZST badge, and be sold alongside the existing model.

The 2021 MG ZST takes the ZS and adds more power, much more safety technology but asks for more money, if still less than similarly-equipped rivals.

The MG ZST will have no trouble finding buyers on a budget... who want something better than a budget offering. It's a big step over the ZS.
