Subaru is a Japanese automaker headquartered in Shibuya, Japan and specialises in making all-wheel drive vehicles powered by horizontally-opposed ‘boxer’ engines.

The company sells several models in Australia, namely the popular Impreza small car and related Crosstrek small SUV, as well as the Outback corssover wagon and Forester mid-size SUV.

Other nameplates include the WRX sports sedan, the BRZ coupe and the Solterra mid-size electric SUV developed alongside the Toyota bZ4X.
