Hyundai’s load carrier range has received a new flagship variant for 2023, which brings some people mover touches.

The 2023 Hyundai Staria Load Premium, in showrooms in February, includes some features previously exclusive to the Staria people mover, including LED headlights and tail lights, 17-inch alloy wheels, a power tailgate and keyless entry and start.

UPDATE, 14/03/2023 – Hyundai has announced it’ll increase prices of its Staria Load range by $500 from April 1, 2023. Existing customer orders won’t be price-protected, so if you take delivery on or after April 1, you’ll pay the higher price. Pricing has been updated below.

Inside, it also swaps out the Staria Load’s 8.0-inch touchscreen for the Staria Elite people mover’s larger 10.25-inch unit with satellite navigation, and gains climate control air-conditioning.

It also gains the 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster from the Staria Highlander, complete with Hyundai’s Blind-Spot View Monitor.

In a final people mover-like touch, you can buy the Staria Load Premium in more than just plain white and black. Graphite Grey and Shimmering Silver metallic and Moonlight Blue mica finishes are available.

It’s priced at $51,240 before on-road costs, or $5500 more than the standard two-seat van. It’s only available with the lift-up tailgate.

The rest of the Staria Load range is unchanged for 2023, including pricing.
