After announcing pricing for its 11th-generation Accord last month, Honda Australia has released full specifications for the Toyota Camry Hybrid rival.
Just one variant will be offered here: the e:HEV RS, priced at $64,900 drive-away.
That’s $3000 more expensive than the outgoing VTi-LX hybrid, which itself was $4000 more than the entry-level petrol model in the outgoing 10th-generation range.
The price increase pushes the Accord further away from the top-selling Camry, and towards its more luxurious Lexus ES cousin which starts at $65,540 before on-road costs.
While the new Accord is underpinned by the same platform as its predecessor, its interior has scored a significant update.
It’s the first Honda to feature Google built-in with embedded Google apps. These are viewable on a larger 12.3-inch touchscreen, up from the outgoing car’s 8.0-inch unit.
