The subtly facelifted 2025 Genesis GV60 has been revealed ahead of its Australian release by September this year.
Blink and you’ll miss them, but exterior changes include a new front bumper, headlights and wheel designs inspired by what Genesis calls its ‘Athletic Elegance’ design philosophy.
More substantial changes have been made inside, where the small electric SUV benefits from the Korean luxury brand’s new 27-inch widescreen display encompassing the digital instrument cluster and infotainment system, as well as a new steering wheel.

It’s unclear whether the GV60 has received any substantial changes under the skin, with full specifications to be detailed ahead of its domestic market launch by March this year.
However, given the GV60 shares its E-GMP architecture with the Hyundai Ioniq 5 and Kia EV6, it would be logical to expect a bigger battery with more range – a new 84kWh unit should replace the current 77kWh battery.
It’s also unclear whether there will be changes to the electric drivetrain, given the existing GV60 Performance AWD bisects the AWD and high-performance versions of the Ioniq 5 and EV6.
Currently in Australia, Genesis sells the GV60 in dual-motor AWD and Performance AWD variations. A more affordable single-motor GV60 RWD variant is available overseas, but thus far it has been out of bounds for Australia.
Digging deeper into the headline changes – which are still quite subtle – the headlights get new Micro Lens Array technology, while the new 21-inch five-spoke alloy wheel design complements new body-coloured cladding.
The front bumper has a new three-dimensional motif, while the rear skid plate and wheel-arch cladding is now body coloured.
The aforementioned 27-inch widescreen array is based on the Hyundai Motor Group’s latest connected car Integrated Cockpit (ccNC) platform and does without bezels between the driver and infotainment displays.
While not explicitly stated, the new system should enable wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, as well as Genesis Connected Services for the Australian market – the Genesis equivalent of Hyundai Bluelink and Kia Connect.
The cream beige and light blue quilted leather interior trims appear new for the 2025 model year, though they’re not mentioned in the media release and nor have they been confirmed for Australia.
Genesis says further specification and pricing details will be announced later in the first quarter of 2025 (January-March) ahead of the updated GV60’s Korean sales launch. First Australian vehicles will touch down during the third quarter of 2025 (July-September).
