The limited-run Audi RSQ3 edition 10 years has been confirmed for Australia, with a “highly limited” allocation of Sportback versions scheduled to arrive during the second quarter of 2023.

With just 555 examples to be sold worldwide, the RSQ3 Sportback edition 10 years should prove to be a rare sight on Australian roads, bringing a range of special exterior and interior details to differentiate the anniversary special from the ‘standard’ RSQ3.

Pricing for Australia will kick off at $102,900 plus on-road costs, or $3100 dearer than the regular RSQ3 Sportback. CarExpert has reached out to Audi Australia to confirm the exact number of units in the local allocation, and is awaiting a response.

Highlights of the special edition include the exclusive Dew Silver matte effect or Chronos Grey metallic paint finishes, 21-inch light double-spoke alloys finished in black, black brake calipers, darkened Matrix LED headlight internals, and gloss black exterior accents.

Inside, there are special leather-Dinamica RS bucket seats (exclusive to the edition 10 years) with back covers in matte carbon, as well as a new jet black upholstery finish, copper top-stitching, matte-finish carbon inlays, and edition-specific illuminated door sill trims that project a 3D Audi Sport red diamond onto the ground when the doors are open.

Power comes from a carryover 2.5-litre five-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine, boasting the same 294kW and 480Nm (2250-5850rpm) as the standard RSQ3. That’s all channelled to a quattro permanent all-wheel drive system via a seven-speed S tronic dual-clutch automatic transmission.

Both the RSQ3 and RSQ3 Sportback quote 0-100 times of 4.5 seconds, and a top speed limited to 250km/h. However, the limiter can be raised to 280km/h “on request” with select options. Australian-delivered RSQ3 models also come fitted with the RS sports exhaust system as standard.

As with the wider Audi line-up, the RSQ3 Sportback edition 10 years is covered by the brand’s five-year, unlimited-kilometre warranty, bolstered by 12 years of paintwork warranty against corrosion.
