Ford Australia is upping the price of its top-selling Ranger ute by up to $1200.
The 2024 Ford Ranger line-up will start at $36,380 before on-roads for the XL single cab-chassis 4×2, and extend to $87,990 before on-roads for the Raptor. A full price list is at the bottom of this story.
A Ford Australia spokesperson has confirmed the updated Ranger pricing will be for any vehicle produced from August 2023 onwards. They also confirmed there won’t be any specification changes.
“The price adjustments are consistent with the evaluation of market conditions we regularly undertake across our product portfolio, which take into consideration a number of different external factors such as currency and material cost considerations,” said a Ford Australia spokesperson.
The majority of the Ranger variants will be hit with a $200 price rise, though in-demand V6 diesel and Raptor models will receive a larger $1200 price rise.
The only Ranger variant to not receive a price rise is the limited-edition Wildtrak X. It’s priced from $75,990 before on-roads and will arrive in local showrooms during the second half of 2023.
The Ranger Wildtrak X is an off-road-focused special bridging the gap between the Wildtrak and Raptor. It’s exclusively powered by the 2.0-litre bi-turbo four-cylinder engine with a full-time four-wheel drive system.
The Ford Ranger is currently the second top-selling vehicle in Australia with a total of 21,407 examples delivered year-to-date. It trails narrowly behind the Toyota HiLux (21,951 YTD) on the VFACTS sales charts.
Updated pricing for the 2024 Ford Ranger is as follows:
