Potential buyers have until March 31, 2025 to take advantage of the nationwide drive-away pricing offer, which applies to all MY24 new and demonstrator models.

All Leapmotor C10s purchased and delivered by the same deadline also receive 12 months of complimentary charging within the Chargefox network, representing a significant running cost saving.

Leapmotor’s introductory drive-away pricing excludes government, fleet and rental buyers.

For context, the BYD Atto 3 is priced from $44,499 to $47,499 before on-road costs, while the most affordable Tesla Model Y – even after recent price cuts – starts at $55,900 before on-road costs, making the Leapmotor C10 one of the most affordable mid-sized electric SUVs available.

The C10 is powered by a 69.9kWh lithium iron phosphate battery and a 160kW/320Nm rear-mounted electric motor developed in-house.

WLTP testing has verified a driving range of a relatively long 420km. Leapmotor claims the C10 takes approximately 30 minutes to charge from 30 to 80 per cent using DC power.

Standard equipment for the base C10 Style is extensive, and includes a 14.6-inch infotainment touchscreen, 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, panoramic glass roof, 12-speaker sound system, dual-zone climate control, power-adjustable front seats, and faux leather upholstery.

In Australia, Leapmotor offers a seven-year, 160,000km vehicle warranty, which is longer than BYD’s and Tesla’s, and matches its competitors with an eight-year, 160,000km high-voltage battery warranty.
