Lexus Australia has extended its on-demand loan service for its Lexus Encore Platinum members, with access to vehicles now extending to Auckland and Queenstown as part of the trans-Tasman ‘travel bubble’.
Owners of the Lexus LX, LC, LS, RC F as well as the UX, NX and RX Crafted Editions all receive complimentary access to the Platinum tier of Lexus’ owner program for their first three years of ownership.
When the travel bubble between Australia and New Zealand re-opens later this month (pending state/territory restrictions), Lexus Encore Platinum members are able to book vehicles in Auckland and Queenstown via the Lexus App.
Auckland airport valet will be home to a Lexus ES sedan, while a Lexus RX will be available from the Lexus of Queenstown dealership.
“We are continually renewing and refreshing our unrivalled Encore owner benefits program to provide a new level of luxury for members and ensure that Lexus remains the leader in luxury experience,” said Scott Thompson, CEO of Lexus Australia.
Lexus on Demand is one of many benefits available through the Encore Platinum program, giving members complimentary access to another Lexus vehicle four times during their three-year membership for up to eight days at a time.
“For example, an urban-focused UX Crafted Edition owner could loan the larger RX all-wheel drive for a ski trip to Queenstown, while an LC luxury-sports coupe owner could utilise the additional space of the five-seat ES in an Auckland business trip,” the company says in its media release.
Other Platinum benefits include valet parking vouchers at Westfield shopping centres around Australia, as well as Chadstone Shopping Centre in Melbourne.
The ‘basic’ Lexus Encore program is complimentary with other Lexus models, which gives owners access to Caltex fuel discounts, invitations to luxury dinners and events, as well as luxury hotel partnership benefits.
Further, it includes the Lexus Service Experience with capped-price servicing, free service loan vehicles and DriveCare Roadside Assistance.
