Further to the expansion of its online ordering tool amidst the COVID-19 pandemic, Volkswagen’s local division is currently advertising three very competitive online offers across the Amarok, Crafter and Polo model lines which will expire at 11:59pm, Thursday May 21.
Those wanting an Amarok V6 Core automatic can nab an MY19-plate example for just $46,990 drive-away in standard white paint, representing a saving of $3000.
In another commercial vehicle special, the MY19 Crafter Runner TDI340 manual in Medium Wheelbase form is currently advertised for $44,990 drive-away with standard white paint, a saving of $2000.
Meanwhile, the MY20 Polo 85TSI Style is on offer from $24,990 drive-away which represents a saving of $2000. The top-spec Polo hatch is fitted as standard with a seven-speed DSG automatic transmission.
Beyond the above very limited-time deals, Volkswagen’s website lists several other MY20 drive-away promotions available for the latter half of May, headlined by sharp offers on the Polo GTI and Tiguan Allspace.
The Polo GTI baby hot hatch is normally $32,490 before on-road costs, but right now you can get one from $31,990 drive-away. If you live in Victoria, that’s a saving of over $5000.
A similar saving is available for the Tiguan Allspace 110TSI Comfortline, which is currently on offer from $39,990 drive-away. Usually priced from $40,490 plus on-road costs, the online offer represents a $5600 saving in Victoria.
Rounding off the online specials are the Golf Alltrack 132TSI and Passat 140TSI Business.
The former is available from $34,990 drive-away, compared to the usual retail figure of $36,190 – a saving of over $6000. Meanwhile, the latter is priced from $42,990 drive-away in sedan form and $44,990 drive-away in wagon guise – savings of around $8400 compared to retail pricing.
