The Polestar 2 is an electric liftback that helped establish Polestar as a standalone brand in Australia. It combines minimalist Scandinavian design, a Google-based infotainment system and a choice of single- and dual-motor variants aimed at different performance and range needs. The Polestar 2 competes with premium-leaning EVs such as the Tesla Model 3, BMW i4 and Hyundai Ioniq 6, but has a more understated design character. Its appeal lies in clean cabin presentation, strong safety credentials and a driving feel that is composed without being flashy. For buyers moving from a sedan or hatchback into an EV, the Polestar 2 feels modern, mature and easy to understand.
