    Toyota LandCruiser 70

The Toyota LandCruiser 70 Series is a heavy-duty four-wheel drive built for work, remote travel and harsh Australian conditions. Toyota has reopened orders for some LandCruiser 70 Series variants, but others are still off sale after emissions upgrades. It is far more utilitarian than the LandCruiser 300 Series, with a basic cabin, rugged chassis and body styles aimed at mining, farming, touring and fleet use. Recent updates have added more safety equipment and expanded powertrain choice, but the core appeal remains durability and mechanical simplicity. The 70 Series is not refined by modern SUV standards, yet that is part of its identity. Buyers choose it for payload, off-road toughness, aftermarket support and trust earned over decades in some of Australia's hardest environments.
