Audi Q5 Sportback: No 50 TDI for now despite strong diesel sales forecast
Audi Australia has opted not to give the regular Q5 Sportback a 50 TDI V6 turbo-diesel option to slot under the SQ5 TDI like the regular Q5.

Last updated Dec 18, 2024The 2021 Audi Q5 is classified as a 4 Door Wagon which was previously on sale in Australia as part of the FY MY21 generation, starting from $44,400 MLRP for the 40 TDI QUATTRO MHEV and topping out at $74,200 for the 50 TDI QUATTRO S LINE MHEV.
There are 19 variants available for our market and the current year model went on sale in January of 2021. The Q5 is built in Germany and is available with Turbo Common Rail Diesel Injection , equipped with a 7 Speed Auto S Tronic transmission with the drive sent to all-wheel-drive.
