The Ford Mustang Mach-E is being offered with complimentary charging, insurance and servicing, but only until the end of the year.

Until December 31, Mustang Mach-E buyers can take advantage of the deal, which includes a $500 electric vehicle (EV) charging voucher to use at Evie stations, six months of Ford Insure insurance, and three complimentary services.

The $500 charging voucher can be used at any one of Evie’s 270-plus Australian stations, which now feature Autocharge – allowing EV owners to pull up at a charging station, plug in and start charging without the need for a smartphone application or RFID card.

Ford’s six-month complimentary insurance offer is available to eligible customers who take out a 12-month policy and pay monthly.

The offer to waive the cost of the first three services to the Mustang Mach-E – which take place at 15,000km or 12-month intervals, whichever comes first – represents a saving of $465 to buyers who purchase the EV before the end of 2024.

Between January and October 2024, Ford delivered 612 Mustang Mach-Es to Australian customers. Only the discontinued Escape SUV (366 deliveries) and niche Transit bus (100 deliveries) have been shipped in lower volumes.

The Mustang Mach-E’s price has been cut twice in Australia, including before local deliveries began in late 2023. Its $64,990 before on-road costs starting price remains $9000 dearer than the entry-level Tesla Model Y, 17,739 of which have been delivered this year.

An updated version of the Ford Mustang Mach-E is due in Australia from the second half of 2025.
