There are 30 variants of the Kona available in Australia and this generation went on sale in January of 2022.
Engine options include 2.0L petrol (110kW/180Nm), 1.6L petrol hybrid (77kW/144Nm), 1.6L turbo petrol (146kW/265Nm), electric motor (100kW/395Nm) and 2.0L turbo petrol (206kW/392Nm). Non-electric variants are available with continuous variable, 6 speed auto dual clutch, 7 speed auto dual clutch, 8 speed automatic, 1 speed automatic or 8 speed auto dual clutch transmissions. Both front-wheel drive and all-wheel drive configurations are available.
The 2023 Kona was offered with a 5 year, unlimited km warranty.
