2022 Lexus ES: Initial specs confirmed for Australia
Lexus has announced preliminary details of its 2022 ES range, headlined by a new engine option as well as enhanced equipment across the line-up.

Last updated Dec 18, 2024The 2021 Lexus ES is classified as a 4 Door Sedan which was previously on sale in Australia as part of the AXZA10R generation, starting from $45,300 MLRP for the LUXURY and topping out at $57,800 for the SPORTS LUXURY BRN MTS (HYBRID).
There are 14 variants available for our market and the current year model went on sale in August of 2021. The ES is built in Japan and is available with Electronic Fuel Injection , equipped with an 8 Speed Auto Direct Shift transmission with the drive sent to front-wheel-drive.
Other powertrain options include:
- Electronic Fuel Injection, equipped with a 8 Speed Auto Direct Shift transmission with the drive sent to front-wheel-drive
- Multi Point Fuel Injection, equipped with a Continuously Variable Transmission Auto 6 Speed Sequential transmission with the drive sent to front-wheel-drive
- Electronic Fuel Injection, equipped with a Electronic Continuously Variable Transmission transmission with the drive sent to front-wheel-drive
The ES is offered with a 4 year, 100,000 km warranty.
