    Mercedes-AMG

Founded in 1967 in Affalterbach, Germany, Mercedes-AMG is the high-performance division of Mercedes-Benz. AMG stands for Aufrecht, Melcher, Großaspach - the surnames of the division's founders. Initially, the company modified Mercedes-Benz production cars to create high-performance versions, but it has since become a fully-owned subsidiary of Mercedes-Benz, producing its own range of vehicles.

Today, Mercedes-AMG produces a range of high-performance vehicles, including sports cars, sedans and SUVs. These vehicles are designed for enthusiasts who seek the ultimate in performance, handling and driving pleasure.

Mercedes-AMG's vehicles are known for their impressive performance, which is achieved through advanced engineering and cutting-edge technology. Many models are still powered by powerful V8 engines, which produce prodigious amounts of power and torque. AMG models also feature upgraded suspension systems, brakes and aerodynamics to optimise handling and performance.

Mercedes-AMG is a well-respected and highly-regarded manufacturer of high-performance vehicles, with a reputation for innovation, engineering excellence and driving excitement.

In recent years, Mercedes-AMG has expanded its lineup to include hybrid and electric vehicles. These models combine AMG's high-performance technology with the latest in electrification, resulting in vehicles that are both efficient and thrilling to drive.

Some of the most iconic AMG models include the AMG GT sports car, the AMG C63 sedan and the AMG G63 off-road SUV, while the new SL is now also an AMG-only model. At the other end of the spectrum are AMG versions of the A-Class, CLA, GLA, GLB and GLC, as well as the EQE and EQS electric sedans and SUVs.
