Zeekr

Zeekr is a subsidiary brand of Chinese giant Geely which also owns brands including Volvo, Polestar, Lotus, Proton, and London Electric Vehicle Company (LEVC), among others. The company has confirmed it will position itself as a premium electric vehicle brand when it launches in Australia in the second half of 2024

Zeekr has previously confirmed the 009 people mover will be offered here, though the X crossover shapes as a strong possibility after the brand posted about it on its Australian LinkedIn account. Both the Zeekr 009 and X are now available to pre-order in right-hand drive form in Thailand.

Zeekr only started delivering vehicles in China in 2021, but is already expanding rapidly around the world. It plans to be selling cars across multiple European, Middle Eastern and Asian markets over the next five years.
